The McCabe Union Elementary School District will elect three (3) members for the Governing Board of Trustees on the November 5th General Election Ballot.  The Candidate Nomination Period is July 15, 2024 – August 9, 2024.  Between these dates, a candidate may obtain and file a Declaration of Candidacy and Candidate Statement of Qualifications (optional) with the Imperial County Registrar of Voters. Who is the MUESD Governing Board of Trustees?

The McCabe School Board is compiled of five members who work with the Superintendent to . . .
  • provide direction for the District.
  • establish District policies and procedures.
  • ensure accountability.
  • provide community leadership on behalf of the District and public education.
 

Who Can Run? 

Any person who is . . .
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • a citizen of California.
  • a resident who resides with the MUESD school district boundaries.
  • a registered voter.
  • not legally disqualified from holding civil office.
