Board Meetings

REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE 2024

The Board will be conducting in-person meetings on the board meeting dates listed below at the following location:
Corfman Gym Classroom located at 701 W. McCabe Road, El Centro, CA 92243

Meeting times may be different for each meeting.  Please review the specific meeting agenda once posted on the McCabe website at www.muesd.net for meeting agendas, times, and webinar links.  To access any board agenda, click on "Meetings" on the top-right corner of this page and go to "Meetings Listing" to find the most current agenda.


All persons attending the in-person meeting must follow Covid-19 safety protocols in place, including wearing of an appropriate face-covering, physical distancing, and self-screening for symptoms prior to entering the building.

The Zoom webinar link below will be available at the top of the agenda and will be accessible once posted.  Due to the nature of the technology utilized for the meeting, it is possible the link may be changed after the agenda has been posted.  If that is the case, and the noted link on the agenda does not work, please refer back to this page for the new online address or email ContactUs@muesd.net.  

SUBMITTING PUBLIC COMMENTS or COMMENTS DURING PUBLIC HEARINGS: 
Persons who wish to comment on topics not included on the agenda, comment on agendized topics are invited to:
  • submit a comment during the public comment or public hearing portion of a meeting by typing the comment through the Q&A tab
  • email a comment 3 hours prior to a meeting to:
    • Public Comments: BoardComments@muesd.net
    • Public Hearing: PublicHearing@muesd.net
    • If your comment is related to a specific agenda item, please identify the agenda item in the subject of your email.  
    • deliver a written comment in person or via US Mail to: Superintendent - Board Comments, 701 W. McCabe Road, El Centro, CA  92243
Please limit comments to 300 words or less.  All comments submitted will be read aloud during the meeting.  Please note, all emailed or delivered correspondence relating to this meeting will become part of the Board minutes.

BOARD MEETING DATES
Regular Board Meetings for the district are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  It is recommended that two (2) meetings be scheduled for the month of June in anticipation of LCAP and Budget requirements.  It is also recommended that the December meeting be held on the 3rd Tuesday of December to comply with Ed Code  35143 which states  the Organizational Board Meeting must be held after the 2nd Friday in December.

  • December 16, 2024 (Organizational and Regular) THIS DATE IS A MONDAY
    • As per Ed Code 35143, the 2024 Organizational Board Meeting must be held after the 2nd Friday in December., but the First Interim deadline for approval is Monday, 12/16.  Therefore, the December 2024 meeting will be held on the  Monday, December 16, 2024 to meet both deadline requirements.
