STEP 1 - New Student Registration (TK-Kinder)

TK-Kinder Registration for 2021-2022 School Year

 

Online registration for NEW TK and Kindergarten students is scheduled to open on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 8:00a.m. through ParentVUE.  Links to register your child are listed below. 

 

Follow the steps below for our online registration process. Should you have questions or issues with the online registration process, please email us at OnlineRegistration@muesd.net or call (760) 335-5200 and our staff will make every attempt to assist you.

 

STEP 1: Register your new student online

Please be sure to select the 2021-2022 school year. Once all student/family/emergency/health information has been entered by the parent or guardian online, a notification will be sent to the McCabe District Office to review your information.

 

FIRST-TIME McCABE PARENTS: If this is your first time as a McCabe parent, please visit the website below and click “More Options” to create your own ParentVUE account and register your child.

CURRENT TK STUDENTS MOVING TO KINDER - Simply sign into your ParentVUE account, click on the 'Registration' tab, and update your child's emergency contacts and health information for the 2021-2022 school year. https://sdhome.sdcoe.net/mccabe/Login_Parent_PXP.aspx?regenerateSessionId=True

 

MULTIPLE CHILDREN: If you have more than one child coming to McCabe for the first time, please be sure to enroll all children before hitting the ‘submit’ button for the 2021-2022 school year.

 

INTERDISTRICTS: If you reside outside of the McCabe district boundaries, interdistrict petitions requesting to attend the McCabe Union Elementary School District must first be released from the district of residence. STEP 1 may still be completed, but openings are not guaranteed until the school is reopened and are based on space.

STEP 2 - Providing Documentation to Complete Registration

Our office will be open to the public to complete new registrations by appointment only starting Monday, April 26, 2021.  The appointment link below will open on April 19, 2021.  Please click the appointment link below or call the McCabe District Office at (760) 335-5200 to request an appointment time.

 

For the health and safety of our families and staff, Step 2 will require you to schedule an appointment to bring in your child’s registration documentation as listed below.   Appointments will be in 15-minutes increments. Please be mindful of safe distancing practices when entering the building.  We ask that you keep family members to a minimum during your appointment.

TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm

WHERE: McCabe District Office located in the Corfman School Office

(Enter through Driveway 'D' and park in the front parking lot.)

FOR NEW STUDENTS: To complete STEP 2 of your registration and enrollment process, please upload to following documentation or schedule an appointment HERE to bring the required documentation listed below to complete the enrollment:

  • Child's birth certificate
  • Child's completed immunization records
  • Current Health Exam dated March 1, 2021 or later
  • Current  Dental/Oral exam dated September 1, 2020 or later
  • Parent Photo ID
  • Current Proofs of Residency (see Allowable Proofs of Residency below)

New student registrations are NOT complete until all proper documentation has been received and reviewed by our office staff.  Once documentation has been received, reviewed, and approved, you will receive an email stating your registration has been accepted. 

 

 ALLOWABLE PROOFS OF RESIDENCY (New and Returning Students)

 

As per AR 5111.1, allowable proofs of residency are as follows and must include parent name, address within the McCabe School District boundaries, and CURRENT DATE within the past 30 days:

  • Homeowners
    • 2 of the following (must be different bills):
      • Mortgage (mortgage statement or current Close of Escrow)
      • Property tax statement/payment receipt 
      • Gas bill
      • Water bill
      • Electricity bill
  • Renters
    • Rental property contract or lease 
    • 2 of the following:
      • Gas bill
      • Water bill
      • Electricity bill
  • Declarations of Residency (student & parent living with another family) 
    • Declaration of Residency form completed by homeowner
    • 2 bills from the homeowners (see list above)
    • 2 of the following bills in parent(s) name:
      • Pay stub
      • Voter registration
      • Correspondence from a government agency
      • Bank Statement
      • Change of address from USPS

FOR RETURNING STUDENTS: ALL returning students are required to upload current residency documentation or schedule an appointment HERE to bring in residency documentation prior to August 1st.  Students with incomplete registrations will NOT be assigned to a class list. 

 

7th Grade Tdaps: ALL 7th grade students must have proof of receiving a Tdap vaccination.  Feel free to upload your child’s Tdap proof (i.e., immunization card or pharmacy receipt signed by a U.S. doctor or pharmacy.

 

INTERDISTRICTS: If you have moved out of the McCabe district boundaries within the past year, please apply for an interdistrict petition through your district of residence. INTERDISTRICT PETITION
