School Information for the 2019/2020 School Year
The 2019-2020 School Year will begin on Monday ~ August 19, 2019
Times for each school day are as follows:
- McCabe K-3rd 8:10am to 2:00pm
- Corfman 4th-8th 8:10am to 2:40pm
LUNCH: Lunches are $2.80 per meal and $.25 for an extra milk. Free/reduced lunch applications will be available online starting July 15th at:
BUS: Please notify the office and teacher if your child plans to ride the bus to/from school.
All Kinder and 1st grade students riding the bus MUST have a parent/guardian at the designated bus stop before exiting the bus. Any student without a parent/guardian at the stop will be brought back to school to be picked up by a parent/guardian.
BLUE NOTES: “Blue Notes” must be called in by 11:00am if there is any change in your child’s daily transportation plans. Blue Notes should be called in to your child’s school site.
ABSENCES: Please contact the attendance office at (760) 335-2505 by 8:30a.m. on the day of your child’s absence.
Be prepared to give the office the following information:
- Your child’s first and last name
- Your child’s teacher
- The date of your child’s absence
- The reason for your child’s absence (illness, out of town, doctor/dentist appointment, funeral, etc.)
KINDER: New kinder students will receive a letter by mail in August inviting them to their Open House scheduled for Friday, August 16th from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. Kinder class lists and a map will be posted on the bulletin board across from the cafeteria.
CLASS LISTS: 1st-8th grade class lists will be available to access through ParentVUE on Friday, August 16th after 5:00pm. Please be sure to have your ParentVUE login information or activation code prior to this date.
TARDIES: Tardy students MUST stop by the office to sign in upon arrival at school in order to avoid an incorrect absence.
CAR LINES: Please remind your child to watch for your car while waiting in their car line.
McCabe: The car line will enter at the staff parking lot and travel along the sidewalk in front of the school.
Corfman: The car line will run from the furthest west entrance “D” and travel along the sidewalk in front of the school.
